This poncho is worked in the flat for the lace edge, then in the round for the body. It features optional beads at the lace tips of the edge, for that slight bit of added weight. The poncho is inspired by Southern Swedish traditional textile art (Skånsk allmogekonst) as well as the ceramics art of the Mediterranean.

The poncho is knitted in JW yarn. This particular model has a snug fit, but the size and ease can be altered by increasing the number of pattern repeats. Note that a larger poncho will need more yarn for the background colour (Graeff).
