These fantastic mitts were designed by Alison Rendall as a homage to her father and his life of fishing. They are inspired by the fishermen's meeds that triangulated landmarks in order to identify fishing spots at sea. They feature a beautiful traditional main motif on the hand, a lovely soft palm pattern and a delicate lace cuff.

The pattern for these mitts is exclusively available in the Shetland Wool Week Annual 2021. There are two versions of each kit, one which only includes the yarn and one wich includes both the yarn and the Shetland Wool Week Annual 2021.
