The pattern for Fields of Barley was inspired by the I dried out head of barley lying on a stone. The piece can be worn either as a stole or as a scarf. Because it is done in double knitting, it is a completely reversible fabric, with each side a mirror image of the other. The double knitting technique makes for a thick, firm fabric which stays in shape. It is a versatile piece that can be used both for a casual look and as a more elegant accessory. It is knitted in JW yarn.
